March 4: Public Forum: A Conversation with an Iranian Shia Cleric  Amidst often challenging media stories about the Iranian Republic, you’re invited to this rare opportunity to engage Dr. Mohammad Ali Shomali, who brings a life-long commitment to dialogue with Christians, including Mennonites. An offering will be held to help 8 Iranian students study at the Canadian School of Peacebuilding June 12–23, 2017 and to attend Dialogue 7 between Shia Muslims clerics and Mennonite Christians theologians. (7:00 PM, Marpeck Commons, 2299 Grant Ave.)

March 9–12: Opera Workshop performance of H.M.S. Pinafore – Tickets available at the door: adults $20; students $15 (Thursday–Saturday 7:00 PM / Sunday 2:30 PM, Laudamus Auditorium, 500 Shaftesbury Blvd.)

April 5: Gather. Give. Celebrate. Spring at CMU – Come support CMU and hear music and inspiring reflections from students, alumni, staff/faculty; evening also includes the 2017 CMU PAX Award presentation (7:00 PM, 500 Shaftesbury Blvd.)

April 9: Outtatown Guatemala & South Africa Gradation (2:30 PM, CMU Chapel, 600 Shaftesbury Blvd.)

April 9: The Mennonite Community Orchestra's Spring Concert – Featuring conductor William Gordon and performances of Brahms’ Four Serious Songs with CMU voice professor Matthew Pauls, Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto #5 with pianist Madeline Hildebrand, flutist Laurel Ridd and violinist Karen Warner, and Beethoven’s Symphony #6, the “Pastoral Symphony”. Tickets at the door: adults $15, students $5, children 12 and under free. (3:00 PM, CMU Chapel, 600 Shaftesbury Blvd.) 

April 22: With Gratitude – A CMU graduation  event at which graduates share their experiences through spoken word or musical performance (2:30 PM, Laudamaus Auditorium, 500 Shaftesbury Blvd.)

April 22: Spring Choral Concert (7:00 PM, Loewen Athletic Centre, 500 Shaftesbury Blvd.)
