Marlis joined the Outtatown team in the winter of 2017 and brings a varied administrative skill set and a love of community, travel and adventure. Marlis is happy to support students, staff and site leaders in their journey with God and in the Outtatown office.

With experiences as a camp director and youth pastor in Saskatchewan, Marlis believes in building and encouraging a strong connection with God and the community. Her experience as an English teacher for refugees at Jubilee Partners in Georgia shaped her global world view and shaped her journey as a young adult.

Marlis is a CMU grad and professional photographer. Creating and sharing visual imagery and music brings joy to her daily life. She enjoys road tripping in Canada and finding great coffee and doughnuts. Marlis is married to Ken and they parent an active toddler and an extroverted lab puppy.
