What Are Our Grads Doing?

The skills and knowledge acquired in a history degree prepare you for a number of different career paths.

Many of our grads use their history degrees as an entry into the field of education, and are employed by school divisions in North America and around the world.

Other grads work at museums, libraries, archives, and also continue on to further studies.

A history degree can also be a strong entry into pre-professional programs such as law. There are a number of students who have gone this route with a CMU degree. For more detailed information on going from CMU into law school, connect with our academic offices, and they would be happy to help you make course selections.
