Political Studies

Why Major in Political Studies?

Political Studies is much more than simply the study of governments, states or elections. In Political Studies you will explore the power relations that weave throughout societies and the narratives that shape them -- between governments, individuals, communities, families, faith organizations, corporations, non-governmental organizations, and other institutions.

You will gain an understanding of forms of governance, develop analytical and deductive reasoning skills, and learn about proposed solutions to complex problems.
