Russell WillmsHead Coach: Russell Willms
Entering his third season with CMU, Russell is well-versed is soccer in Manitoba. After finishing university soccer at Providence College, Russell stepped into a co-coaching role with Martin Ward where the two earned successive NCCAA North Central Region Coaches of the Year honors in 2002 and 2003. He followed this coaching success with four years as an assistant coach at the University of Manitoba with the CIS women’s soccer program. In two seasons with CMU, Russell led the Blazers to consecutive championship appearances in the MCAC as well as the ACCA National Championship Final in 2008.
