Applicants must meet CMU's regular admission requirements, except that one of the grade 12 subjects they must present is Pre-Calculus Mathematics 40S course (or equivalent). Applicants who have not completed the mathematics requirement will be considered on a case-by-case basis for special admission, conditional upon completing that requirement during the first year at CMU.
The standard admission process is through an initial year in the Bachelor of Business Administration. Students who complete the first year with at least four required or restricted elective courses in Business and Organizational Administration, with a minimum grade of "B" in each and an overall minimum GPA of 2.5 over 30 credit hours, are eligible to apply for admission to the Bachelor of Business Administration, Co-op Option.
Alternatively, applicants may seek admission directly from high school if they have an average of 85% over three academic courses including Pre-Calculus Mathematics 40S and English 40S (or equivalents), with a minimum grade of 60% in each.

Redekop School of Business Merit Awards recognize CMU students who are business-minded and who desire to enter a business program at CMU. Each year six RSB Merit Awards (maximum value $6000; $1500 per year up to four years) are awarded to students entering the Redekop School of Business.
Application forms must be submitted along with a letter of nomination from someone who can speak for the student's suitability in the Redekop School of Business.
Applications are due by February 28.

Redekop School of Business students who demonstrate financial need and are enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours per term may also apply for CMU bursary funds. Ask your admissions counsellor or the Financial and Student Services Advisor at sklassenbartel:@:cmu.ca for a bursary application. Deadline for application is July 15 for fall semester and November 15 for winter semester.
