In Kids Act Out, we will be exploring what acting is all about! Through a variety of activities such as creative movement, improvisation, and tableaux, students will develop their ability to create fascinating characters and compelling stories, all the while building self-confidence, expression and teamwork. Come and develop new friendships, share your own special ideas and watch them grow. We’ll have a whole lot of fun!
Creative Drama – Grades 5 – 8. 6:30 - 7:30pm
In Creative Drama, all kinds of acting techniques will be explored
including: improvisation, storytelling, scene work, dialogue, and play building
(action, character, emotion). You willdevelop incredible decision-making and
communication skills while growing in self-confidence. Come and join this
exciting and trustingenvironment and grow in your ability to be part of a
creative team, while continuing to develop the performance skills you need to
shine!

Taking the Stage - Grades 2 - 4. 5:30 - 6:30pm
Taking the Stage – Grades 5 –8. 6:30 - 7:30pm
This course provides advanced training in the essentials of acting and an exciting performance opportunity designed for young people. Theatre exercises, improvisation, and rehearsing scenes from plays will equip you to create original scenes and plays that will culminate in a final performance on stage. The prerequisite for this class is "Creative Drama."
