Mixed Media Mania – Grades 2 - 4

Discover new, fun and exciting ways to use familiar and not-so-familiar art making materials! Learn about texture, colour, line and shape through artistic experimenting.
Mixed Media and More – Grades 5 - 8

Let's venture outside the box. Use art materials and everyday objects in new, creative ways with the help of the classic elements and principles of design.
Drawing for Young Children – Grades 2-4

This course is designed for kids at all skill levels. If you like to draw, this class will enable you to explore and build on your talent! Learn all the elements involved in creating your own special composition.
Drawing For Older Children – Grades 5-8
November 4, 18, 25 Dec 2 2010. 7:30 – 8:30 PM
This class will encourage the student who has been drawing and wants to improve their skills. Contour, perspective, proportion, and shading will all be addressed. Work with different drawing tools and gain confidence.

Acrylic Painting – Grades 2-4
February 3, 10, 17, 24 2011. 6:00 – 7:00 pm
Students will be bringing home beautiful, ready-to-hang, unique paintings! Working on a large surface area, mixing colors, texture, brush stroke, and composition will all be a part of the young artists' training. There will be a strong focus on creativity, color, and planning a finished project.
Acrylic Painting – Grades 5-8
February 3, 10, 17, 24 2011. 7:30 – 8:30 pm
Learn about acrylic paint, various techniques, and study different artists. The students will paint on stretched canvas and create their own masterpiece that will be ready to hang. Color theory, composition, brush stroke and interpretation will all be addressed.
