The Maintenance Tech 2 will assist the Maintenance Manager in managing the maintenance of the university’s buildings and grounds. The Maintenance Tech 2 will have a keen understanding of maintenance requirements of institutional buildings and their systems and will have the ability to recognize maintenance issues, prioritize and determine optimal solutions, and take appropriate steps. The successful candidate will have a personality, which will contribute to the friendly and engaging image, which the institution wishes to project to all students, visitors, faculty and staff.
Positions will be available in our one year, two semester programs which travel to Guatemala or South Africa. Positions will also be available for our bilingual French-English one-semester program which travels to Quebec, Burkina Faso, and France; applicants should be somewhat fluent in both French and English.
