Communications and Marketing Coordinator

CommonWord exists as a partnership between Canadian Mennonite University and Mennonite Church Canada.  Its mandate is to curate and provide Anabaptist and related resources for individuals, congregations, university and the wider community.  The details of the mandate are established by the CommonWord Management Committee.  Reporting to the Director, the purpose of the position is to develop and implement a communications and marketing strategy for CommonWord in order to grow local and online sales and the ministry reach to the Mennonite and ecumenical church and wider communities.

Admissions Counsellor
Full-time Salaried, Anticipated start date mid- August

The Admissions Counsellor is a full-time position responsible for the recruitment of students to CMU’s undergraduate and Outtatown programs through personal contacts, presentations, and staffing booths at fairs and conventions.  The role is one of finding students who are interested in CMU and will be able to engage in our academic programs, student life and spiritual climate so that both students and CMU as a whole are strengthened.  This person will be part of the admission team and report to the Director of Enrolment Services.

Grounds and Facilities Lead Technician (revised)
Full-time Salaried

The Grounds and Facilities Lead Technician reports to the Physical Plant Manager and takes primary responsibility for the management of campus grounds and facilities. Primary areas of oversight include custodial activities, grounds maintenance, snow clearing, workplace safety and health, parking operations, and campus signage. The Facilities Lead Technician is expected to work closely with the Hosting and Maintenance departments to coordinate activities and resources. This position is a working supervisory role, and the Facilities Lead Technician may at times assist with the work of the other operations departments.
