Congregational Peacebuilding Project

Congregational Peacebuilding Partners provides education and services to strengthen the capacity of congregations to work constructively with controversy and difference:

• equipping congregants to respond gracefully to difference as it emerges;

• assisting the church to experience difference and disagreement as a gift;

• providing assistance if the conflict has become damaging.

Consultation and intervention in specific conflict situations are generally the responsibility of the church denomination – CPP is available to provide support to the denominations’ work in this area.
