Fall Dessert Celebration Evening A Success

Soprano Sharla Nafziger sings at the October 27 CMU Dessert Celebration Evening. Over 400 people came out to support CMU, to hear Nafziger, a CMU alumnus from New York City, and the CMU Chamber Choir. They also heard CMU President Gerald Gerbrandt report that there are 1,680 students at CMU’s three campuses—Grant and Shaftesbury, Menno Simons College (CMU’s campus at the University of Winnipeg) and Outtatown, CMU’s adventure and discipleship program—a full course equivalent of 3,409.

Over $40,000 was raised at the event, including over $11,000 through an auction of great desserts donated by local restaurants and individuals. Our thanks goes out to the following donors:
