In order to apply for all the courses except Life Writing, please submit by mail an application form and two copies of a portfolio of the writing you would like to develop during the School. The admissions committee evaluates the portfolios. Acceptances are issued by mid-March.
Full payment is due by March 31. If the School receives written notice of withdrawal by April 22, a full refund, less a $50 administration fee, will be issued. If the School receives written notice of withdrawal between April 25 and May 2, $200 will be withheld. No refunds can be issued after May 2.

Financial Aid
A limited number of bursaries of $100 per person are available. Applicants for bursaries must provide a confidential statement explaining their financial situation. The bursary amount, if awarded, will be deducted from your payment. Bursary recipients will be informed of this when they receive their acceptance into the school.

If you are a current CMU student, or will graduate this spring, you may qualify for a tuition reduction of $200. This will be available to a limited number of applicants. Be sure to state on your application that you are a CMU student.
