Emilie Roussis

Emilie is originally from Sarnia, ON and moved to Winnipeg after her experience on Outtatown, where she travelled to South Africa. Emilie graduated from CMU in Spring of 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Peace and Conflict Transformation Studies (PCTS) and minoring in Psychology and Theology. During her time at CMU, she played soccer and futsol with the CMU Blazers. Emilie believes that getting involved in athletics at CMU is a great way to get involved, stay healthy, and make lasting friendships. Emilie is excited to be back at CMU in an environment where she can help students find their passions and interests in an academic setting.

Emilie is passionate about smiling, laughing and getting to know people. She loves travelling and experiencing new cultures. She appreciates great music and dancing. In her spare time, she gets together with her friends to choreograph hip hop dances to her favorite artists such as Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and of course, Cardi B. In order to relax, Emilie heads straight to the beach and makes sure to stay till sunset.

Emilie would love to hear from you! Reach out to her if you have any questions about the Outtatown program, live in Ontario, or have a general curiosity about CMU.
