New Student Course Registration
Course registration for new students opens on May 15
We strongly recommend meeting with an Academic Advisor to register for classes. You can do this in a few ways:

Book an in-person or online appointment. Appointments are 45 minutes and can be booked online through your application portal. Click on an Academic Advisor and find an available date and time that works for you.

Join us for a group registration event on May 14 (exclusive access, event registration required) or June 11 (drop-in from 5:00-8:00 PM).
Summer Splash
This is your chance to gather with other new students starting classes in the fall. Get a head start on making friends, experience a splash of CMU student life, and enjoy a delicious barbeque at our annual Summer Splash!

What to Expect
- A chance to meet new students starting in the same year and program as you,
- mingle with your Admissions Team and meet the Student Life staff who will welcome you into the new school year,
- a free barbeque,
- bring your family or friends to join in on the fun!
