MHC Gallery is seeking: Advisory Committee Members

Get a "behind-the-scenes" look at the working of an art gallery, meet new people, and support artistic expression!

Join the MHC Gallery Advisory Committee and play a vital role in a community that helps artists of all skill levels, ages and backgrounds thrive. We are seeking at least three additional volunteers to join our Committee as we transition into a period of growth and renewal. This is an exciting time to get involved!

About Us

MHC Gallery is located at Canadian Mennonite University and encourages the exchange of culture, faith, spirituality, and creativity. Through regular art exhibitions and related programming, MHC gallery invites all people to celebrate diversity, including faith diversity. Through artistic expression we can get to know one another, respect, understand and accept each other.

About the Position

Advisory Committee members are vital volunteers who provide direction for the Gallery's activities while actively building and promoting our programs, fundraising and creative community. Volunteers can expect to commit approximately 3 hours per month, including a monthly meeting. Committee members are not responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization; however opportunities are available to support the gallery in areas of Fundraising, Marketing, Exhibition/Event Planning and Community Engagement.
