Two exhibitions celebrating a diversity of landscapes that connect and sustain us in the face of crisis and change.
Wild Beauty at Risk | Karen Cornelius
In this multimedia body of work, Karen explores the astonishing beauty and grave fragility of our rainforests. Through drawing, painting, and fabric installation, Karen's layered work presents the delcicay of these jungle ecosystems while infusing her images with a sense of urgency. Each painting preserves a fragment of the forest - a memory made visible.
Through the Layers of Time | Yvette Cuthbert & Eveline Mangin Mauws
Imbued with a love of nature and connection t place, Yvette and Eveline's work features British Columbia's coastal rainforests and the rural prairie landscape, respectively. These diverse landscapes connect us to places across our vast country and bind us in response and adaptation.
