Grace's Appeal for the Centre for Career and Vocation (CCV)

To the CMU Community,

Grace Siemens, CMU student

My name is Grace Siemens, and I'm a student at Canadian Mennonite University. I wanted to take a moment to tell you how your generosity has impacted me directly.

When I started at CMU, I wasn't sure how to connect my studies in social sciences to a career that would make a difference in the world. I was unsure where to start and which steps to take to figure out my own goals. With help from the Centre for Career and Vocation, that's changed.

Through career workshops, coaching sessions, and my work-integrated learning placement, i've gained confidence and developed new skills. My placement with an organization that shares my commitment to community-building and sustainability allowed me to see how my education, my skills, and my faith could shape my career.

It was a hands-on opportunity to grow, contribute, and begin to put my vision for my future into action.

The CCV doesn't just help students like me find jobs—it provides us with a space to imagine a future for ourselves and guides us as we test this out. Your support makes this possible. Every workshop, every placement, and every moment of guidance at the CCV is made possible by donors like you who believe in us.
