- Centre for Media, Religion and Culture — This centre is based at the University of Colorado (Boulder) and is led by Dr. Stewart Hoover. It is one of the very few institutions worldwide dedicated to building knowledge and expertise in the emerging field of media and religion studies. This website provides an excellent bibliography and research project descriptions.

- Network for New Media, Religion and Digital Culture — The Network was established at Texas A&M University and is designed for scholars, students and those interested in exploring topics and questions emerging at the intersections of religion, the internet and new, social and mobile media.
