Braiding Sounds, Sights, and Stories

Nathaniel Froese, Joanne Epp, and Jennifer Still have developed a multi-media performance centered around Joanne's poetry chapbook, Nothing But Time. The performance braids video of fabric and stitching, prairie-themed poetry, and original cello music to create an immersive experience.

The Goose

The Goose (Jesse Krause, Paul Rempel, and Nathaniel Froese) is a tenacious trio that intrepidly sets out to discover new musical territory. The audacious combination of trumpet, bass clarinet, and cello courageously seeks to harmonize and cooperate on its ambitious journey of rhythm and sound-shapes.

This V-shaped ensemble performs original compositions, music reimagined from the classical tradition, and improvisations inspired by jazz. The Goose takes full advantage of the strikingly broad palette of expressive devices available to this unlikely company to bring you on a high-altitude voyage of dance, laughter, singing, mourning, nostalgia, stillness, and yes, honking.
