Campus Visit

Is CMU the right university for you?
Find out for yourself by coming to visit our campus!
Registration Days for new students: May 16, May 31, June 14, July 5, August 15 (2-8pm). Come out to discuss which courses to take and register for September classes. Faculty and staff will be available to guide you through the process (and snacks will abound too!). If you have not yet applied to attend CMU this fall, this is also a time to meet with an admissions counsellor and fill out an application. We'd love to meet you!
What does life at university look like? What are classes like? Is the food any good? Get answers to these questions, and to many more, by visiting CMU. We'd love to show you around campus and have you meet some of the professors. Feel free to make an appointment for such a visit any time this summer and/or attend one of the registration days mentioned above.

Parents Welcome
Parents are welcome to join you during Campus Visit Day; the schedule includes activities and presentations that are beneficial for both you and your parents.
Financial Assistance
To make it easier for your visit to CMU, we offer financial assistance to prospective students traveling from a distance—whether you’re coming for a Campus Visit Day or an Individual Visit.
For those travelling by plane, bus or train to CMU, we’ll pay half of your fare to Winnipeg. We’ll credit the remainder of your fare to your student account if you choose to study at CMU (to a total limit of $400 if from Canada and $500 if from the U.S.).
If you live more than 150 km outside of Winnipeg and drive here, we’ll reimburse you for gas at 20 cents per kilometre, up to a limit of $200 ($100 when you visit and $100 if you become a student here).
If you come for an individual Campus Visit Day, you will be reimbursed 25% of your travel costs at the time of the visit. You will still be eligible for the 50% reimbursement if you become a student here at a later time.
While you’re on campus, meals and on campus accommodation will be covered. You can also stay in residence the evening before your Campus Visit Day. Please speak to an admissions counsellor regarding the maximum number of meals and nights you may stay at no cost.
To qualify for a travel subsidy, your visit must be pre-arranged with the CMU Admissions Department. Contact the Admissions Department at info@cmu.ca or by completing the online registration form above. You can also call us at 1 (877) 231-4570.
Individual Visits
You don’t have to wait for a Campus Visit Day to visit CMU—we can arrange a personal experience for you! It can be a day, a morning or an afternoon. We can also tailor the visit to your special interests (music, athletics, biblical studies, etc.). To arrange a personalized Campus Visit, contact us at info@cmu.ca.
You can also combine a personal visit with a special event or conference at CMU—come a day early or stay a day afterwards. If you are interested in combining your Campus Visit experience, contact us at info@cmu.ca.
We hope to see you at CMU!
