Acting Power!

Through a variety of activities such as creative movement, improvisation, and tableaux, students will develop their ability to create fascinating characters and compelling stories, all the while building self-confidence, expression and teamwork. Come and develop new friendships, share your own special ideas and watch them grow into scenes and stories.

Playmaking

In Playmaking, all kinds of acting techniques will be explored, including improvisation, storytelling, scene work, and play building (action, character, emotion). You will develop communication skills as you grow in self-confidence and in your ability to be part of a creative team. Let your inner “character” shine!

Taking the Stage

Ready to hit the stage? If so, this is the class for you! Build on your acting skills as you prepare for an exciting performance. Theatre exercises, improvisation, and rehearsing scenes from plays will equip you to create original scenes and plays that will culminate in a final performance on stage. The prerequisite for this class is "Acting Power" or "Playmaking."
