Summer Theory Boot Camp

This one week intensive class prepares incoming Canadian Mennonite University students for their written theory entrance exams and first year theory course.

Thorough Theory Class (Rudiments)

This stimulating group course is designed to prepare high school band, choir and solo musicians for further musical studies. A comprehensive survey of theory, including aural and keyboard skills, will be offered. Students who complete the course will be prepared for Grade 8 Royal Conservatory of Music or equivalent theory exams and university entrance theory tests. In addition, students will establish a strong foundation of theory, aural and keyboard skills to enhance vocal or instrumental performance and university level music studies. The course welcomes students whatever their previous experience with formal theory instruction.
Class minimum: 3 students

Day & Time: Thursday, 5:00 - 6:30 PM
Dates: February 1, 8. 15. 22, 29, March 7, 14, 21, April 3, 11, 18, 25.  Makeup date: May 2
