CMU is a collaboration of three campuses—Shaftesbury, in Charleswood; Menno Simons College, CMU's campus at the University of Winnipeg; and Outtatown, which finds students dispersed across western Canada in fall and in South Africa or Guatemala in winter. All events listed below are on the Shaftesbury campus, unless otherwise noted.

March 14: The Four Choirs of Canadian Mennonite University – the CMU Singers and Women’s Chorus (Derek Morphy, conductor) and the CMU Chamber Choir and Men’s Chorus (Rudy Schellenberg, conductor) – join with the Mennonite Community Orchestra (Eric Hemmerling, conductor) in presenting Choral Connections, featuring Mendelssohn’s Hear My Prayer (Kelsea McLean, soprano; Jorge Hidalgo, conductor) and Haydn’s Mass in Time of War (Amanda Bruneau-Schroeder, soprano, Katie Sawatsky, mezzo soprano, DeLayne Toews, tenor; Jorge Hidalgo, baritone). 7:00 pm, CMU Loewen Athletic Centre, 500 Shaftesbury Blvd. $10 / $5 Students. March 15 – 16: CMU’s “Proclaiming the Unique Claims of Christ; Negotiating the Christian-Muslim Interface,” public lecture series with speaker Emmanuel Ali El-Shariff. Session 1, March 15: Is Jesus Only For Christians? Session 2, March 16: Do the Unique Claims of Jesus Make a Difference? March 16: Pastoral Ministry Roundtable: Topic: How can we Reach Muslims with Understanding and Compassion? A Case-Study on How to Reach our Neighbors with the Love of Christ. March 21: CMU’s Southern Manitoba Concert takes place at 3 pm at the Bergthaler Mennonite Church in Winkler, MB. The afternoon concert features the CMU Men’s Chorus (Rudy Schellenberg, conductor) and CMU Guitar Ensemble (Willie Wiebe, Director).
