Application Due Dates: Awards will be allocated to admitted students as applications are received.
For September, 2012, students entering the Redekop School of Business will be eligible to receive up to $7,000 in Business Awards during four years of study at CMU. In addition, all Year One, Continuing and Transfer students may be eligible for other CMU scholarships and bursaries, excluding CMU’s Leadership Scholarship.
Year One Business Students
Up to twenty University Year One students admitted into a CMU Business program will be eligible for a Business Entrance Award of $2500.
A CMU academic entrance average of 75% over three academic subjects including either Pre-Calculus Math 40S or Applied Math 40S (or equivalents), and English, with a minimum grade of 60% in each. Students who have not completed the math requirement may be considered on a case-by-case basis for the entrance award, conditional upon registering for MATH-0900 Pre-Calculus Mathematics during the first year at CMU.

CMU Business Students Continuing into their Second, Third, and Fourth Years
Students entering their second, third, or fourth years in a CMU Business program will be eligible to receive a $1500 Merit Award.
A GPA of 2.5 or higher and a minimum of 24 credit hours earned in the previous years of study.
Registration in a minimum of 12 credit hours in each of Fall and Winter semesters, including 15 credit hours of business or business-related courses. (Business-related courses are those with a prefix other than BUSI, e.g., COMM, ECON, IDS, MATH, PCTS, PSYC, that are required or that will meet requirements in the major of the Bachelor of Arts or in the business components of the Bachelor of Business Administration.)
Submission of a 250 word statement outlining your commitment to Business studies at CMU.
Students Transferring into a CMU Business Program
Students transferring from another program within CMU or from other universities or colleges into a CMU Business program will be eligible for a $1500 Merit Award.
