Domestic Student Bursary Application Form

Applications will be accepted: between April 15 and July 20 (to apply for a fall/winter semester bursary) and between October 15 and November 10 (to apply for a winter semester bursary).

Criteria

If any questions on this form are left unanswered, the application may be void.
Returning students must be in good academic standing (minimum GPA of 2.0) and registered full-time (minimum 9 credit hours per term) in an undergraduate program or doing their music therapy internship in the upcoming year prior to submitting this application to be considered for bursary funding.
New students must be CMU admitted applicants in order to apply for bursaries.
Credit hours at any institution other than CMU will be excluded when determining a student's eligibility for a bursary. However, if the program of study you are currently in requires that you take credit hours from another institution, you may submit an exemption request that demonstrates this.
All Canadians must apply for provincial student aid and submit their Notice of Assessment and Awards information with this application. This bursary application will not be assessed unless this Notice and Awards information is included. This also applies to permanent residents and designated protected persons in Canada who are residents of a Canadian province. Students completing their music therapy internship are exempt from this requirement.
If they have not done so already, Canadians will need to apply for student aid promptly to ensure you have your assessment and awards information before the Nov 10 deadline.

International students can apply for CMU bursaries after they have begun their studies at CMU, so are not eligible to apply prior to their first semester.
International students must be returning in good academic standing (minimum GPA of 2.0) and registered full-time (minimum 9 credit hours per term) in an undergraduate program or doing their music therapy internship in the upcoming year prior to submitting this application to be considered for bursary funding.

I authorize the release of this application to the appropriate awards selection committee(s) along with my academic record and copies of any information attached to this application.
