PLEASE READ THE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES CAREFULLY, SINCE ENROLLMENT IN AND PAYMENT FOR THE TOUR CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THE TOUR CONDITIONS.
The maximum number of participants is 35. If there are 21-25 participants, the tour cost will be increased by $200.00.
The total cost of the tour is CDN $4,199.00 (based on double occupancy, excluding airfare and exclusions as noted in “Policies and Procedures”).
The price of the tour is based on a minimum of 26 participants. Should there be fewer participants, the cost will increase by $200.00
A single room supplement is available for $980.00.
A group rate for the airfare will be available with departure on British Airways out of Toronto, and with connections from other Canadian cities. The Toronto-Amman/Tel Aviv-Toronto fare is currently CDN $874.00 plus taxes.
A deposit of $500.00, which will be credited toward the total cost of the tour, is required for each participant by December 15, 2013. Space is limited and earlier reservations are encouraged to secure a place on the tour.
Final payment is due by January 17, 2014. All cheques should be made payable to “Canadian Mennonite University”. Final payment by credit card can be made by calling the CMU Finance Office at 204-487-3300 or 1-877-231-4570.
Students taking the tour for academic credit (3 credit hours) must also register for the course through the Registrar’s office at Canadian Mennonite University. Tuition fees are included in the cost of the tour.
Participants must hold a current passport that is valid for 6 months following the travel dates. Names on airline tickets must appear as shown on passports.
Cancellations must be in writing and must be received 90 days prior to departure (January 28, 2014).
Except for an administrative fee of $200.00, all land costs are fully refundable up to 90 days prior to departure (January 28, 2014). Tour members who cancel after that date for any reason, including medical reasons, are subject to the following cancellation fees: 90-60 days prior to departure 75% of the total tour cost; less than 60 days prior to departure 100% of tour cost.
(2) Airline tickets (if purchased through CMU’s agent) will be issued well in advance and upon receipt of final payment for the airfare. Cancellation policy follows protocol of the airline. Trip Cancellation and Interruption insurance is advised.
Once ticketed, a name change can only be done by the airline if the name is not the same as passport, in which case a correction fee of $100.00 will apply. Complete name change is a cancellation and penalty is total non-refundable amount of the fare.
CMU and its Agents assume no liability or responsibility for any injuries or loss of property, accident, delay, changes in schedule or itinerary or incidental damages, occasioned by circumstances beyond the control of CMU or by any person or reason whatsoever, including but not limited to default or omission of and by any third party providing services or facilities related to or included in this tour or any part thereof or in arranging for same. The IATA carriers, and other transportation companies whose services are featured in these tours are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time the passengers are not on board their respective conveyance. The passage contract in use by these companies, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the companies and the purchaser of these tours and/or passenger, and CMU assumes no liability or responsibility in connection therewith.
