Arlyn began as Director of the Mennonite Church Canada Resource Centre in 2004, which integrated with the CMU Bookstore in 2015 to become CommonWord. His primary role at CommonWord is to help curate a source of Anabaptist and related materials, and to link people and congregations with those resources—items for sale, loan, and download.

Before coming to CommonWord ,Arlyn was a pastor and area church youth minister. Several of his passions are drama and creative worship. Arlyn loves a good hockey, football, or baseball game, and enjoys camping and gardening. He is married to Judith and together have 3 (wonderful!) children.
