Meet Martin Kaethler, our dynamic and dedicated Admissions Coordinator at CMU. Martin has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from CMU and a background in nonprofit organizations, workshop facilitation, and information technology. Martin is passionate about fostering education and community connection which just so happen to embody CMU’s values and mission.

In his role, Martin works in the Registrar’s Office as a direct conduit to the enrolment team. He collaborates with academic and student advisors on behalf of prospective students, understands admissions policies, and ensures a smooth journey for all. He has been recognized by peers and supervisors for his compassionate customer service, empathetic engagement, and generous spirit. Martin enjoys contributing to CMU's mission of sharing its “small university community and big opportunities” while working with a team that values community, connection, and service.

Martin is not only a professional, but also a dedicated family person. He is committed to both work and home life and a enjoys a healthy balance. Martin loves singing in a choir and is a hobby carpenter in his spare time. He is an active member of Bethel Mennonite Church, enjoying many aspects of community centered socializing, such as volunteering, potlucks, and joining small groups. Martin is excited to embark on this adventure which started in 2023 and looks forward to meeting you soon.
