Kaitlyn assists in the CMU library with many different things, such as shelving and reorganizing books, helping to manage donations, and answer any questions at the circulation desk from patrons. Recently graduated from CMU with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in History, Kaitlyn is taking online courses through Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario, to complete her Library and Information Technician diploma.
As a student at CMU, Kaitlyn was employed in the CMU Library, and she credits her time here as the inspiration to pursue library sciences. The CMU Library staff were always so warm and welcoming, which helped her transition from her home province of Saskatchewan to Manitoba.
In her spare time, Kaitlyn enjoys cooking, baking, cross-stitching, and singing in several choirs, but usually can be found curled up with a good book or with her friends.
