Joel looks for the deeper meaning in small things. Whether it is a line of poetry, the rhythm of a name, or the flight of a bird, he is drawn to the quiet beauty that often goes unnoticed.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in History and a minor in English before completing a Bachelor of Education. Throughout his studies, he developed a particular interest in creating safer and more inclusive spaces where students can learn and thrive.
Outside of work, Joel enjoys giving his cats fun voices and grabbing his binoculars for an evening of birdwatching.
