Richard Boyd

Information Technology Administrator, AV

Richard grew up in California  and graduated from Fresno Pacific College with a BA in Math. He was in Mennonite Voluntary Service and taught math and science at an alternative high school in Chicago. He was also the Director of Operations at Erie Neighborhood House before moving to Manitoba to be closer to his partner's family. After working at Camp Assiniboia and then spending a couple of years at home with the kids, Richard started working in the IT department at CMU in 2010.

Richard and his partner, Sheila Giesbrecht, have two kids, Walker and Juniper, and a dog, Oso. The family enjoys hiking, mushrooming, and birding. At home, cooking and gardening round out some of Richard's interests.
