Christmas at CMU Market Vendor Application

Market Details

The market is open Saturday, November 28, 2026 from 3:00–7:00 PM. Set up will open at 1:00 PM. (Christmas at CMU concerts are at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM.)

Vendor Selection Process

Please note, we will have limited availability of vendor space as the market will be happening alongside other festivities across campus.

The Christmas at CMU Market vendors will be selected via a collaborative committee process with priority given to returning vendors, alumni and friends of the CMU community, and vendors committed to CMU's values. Other considerations when approving vendors include locality, uniqueness, and diversity of products.

Market Location

The market will be held in the Marpeck Commons mezzanine (2nd Floor, 2299 Grant Ave.). The mezzanine is accessible by stairs and elevator. Vendors will be able to load in through the Marpeck Commons main entrance with free parking available nearby (but not in the Marpeck lot). A limited number of electrical outlets for vendor usage are available upon request.

Applications close on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. Due to the time sensitivity of permits and other market deadlines, we may not be able to follow up with all vendors who apply and are not selected. Vendors with successful applications will be notified by November 5, 2026.

Vendor Fees

$35 per vendor, includes 1 chair (Add-ons available: $10 for one 6-foot table per vendor). Fee payment is due by Wednesday, November 18, 2026, and will be sent out via secure link after vendor selection is complete.

Please note: Due to permit restrictions, only vendors who have applied as food vendors may sell food or beverages of any kind.
