CMU Dining Hall
CMU's Dining Hall, located in Poettcker Hall, provides high-quality, nutritious food service to students, staff, and visitors. The menu rotates on a six-week basis and offers a diverse variety of dishes.

Hours of Service
The Dining Hall is open daily from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Mealtimes are as follows:
Sunday–Friday
Breakfast: 8:00–10:00 AM
Lunch: 12:00–1:15 PM
Dinner: 5:00–6:00 PM
Saturday
Breakfast: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Brunch: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Dinner: 5:00–6:00 PM
Snack is available every night of the week from 9:00–10:00 PM.
Dorm Meal Plan
All dormitory students are required to participate in the full board meal plan. This includes three meals a day, seven days a week, as well as snacks throughout the day and Evening Snack every day at 9:00 PM—a CMU Residence tradition!
Apartment Community
All students living in apartment units pay the Apartment Community Fee, which includes community supper, one lunch per week, plus evening snack every night. Apartment students are welcome to purchase additional lunches and dinners. The Apartment Community Fee does not include beverages, fruits, or snacks from the Dining Hall during the day and between meals.

Take-out and Meals-to-go
If CMU events conflict with mealtimes (i.e., athletic games or choral performances), arrangements can be made for bag lunches and dinners to be provided by Food Services. Requests must be made 24 hours in advance. Additionally students can opt for a take-out meal if they need to run to a lunchtime meeting or presentations, to eat after practice, or just have a busy day.

Commuter students, staff, faculty, and visitors are welcome to eat meals in the Dining Hall.

Dietary Requirements and Allergies
CMU Food Services takes food allergies seriously and makes every effort to accommodate students who have allergies and other dietary restrictions. We understand the importance of providing safe and nutritious choices that meet your dietary needs.
While CMU does not have allergen-free facilities and cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment, we take every precaution to minimize the risk of exposure, encourage self-responsibility and strive to provide the most up-to-date ingredient information.

folio café
Located in Marpeck Commons, folio café offers coffee, tea, gelato, small bites, and soup. Students, staff, faculty and visitors are welcome to enjoy the sunny space and tasty treats for a meeting, study session, or a catch up with friends.
