Alumni Relations Associate

Claudia is excited to join the Development department as Alumni Relations Associate. She balances this with her responsibilities as a Senior Research Assistant with the Estamos Program.

While new to each of these positions, Claudia brings experience, having spent three years in various research roles, including most recently as a research coordinator for CMU's Hold in Common project, which centred alumni perspectives.

The opportunity to assist in the Development department, working to build relationships with CMU era alumni and bridging the knowledge gained through research with potential engagement strategies is an exciting challenge and privilege for Claudia. These research and development roles bring together Claudia's excitement for getting to know different people and trying to understand what matters to them with understanding how institutions work and what can be done to continually meet the needs of the constituents the institution serves. 

Claudia holds a BA in Intercultural Social Sciences from CMU. She has applied for various master’s degrees for the fall of 2024.

In her spare time Claudia enjoys canoeing and skiing, making music, knitting, and cooking delicious meals to be shared.
