Wes Bergen

Library Technician

Wes primarily performs cataloguing and inter-library loan duties in the CMU Library. He is a graduate of the Library & Information Technology program at Red River College. Wes also holds a Bachelor of Christian Ministry from Bethany Bible Institute (Hepburn, SK), and is nearly done a Bachelor of Arts (History & Geography) at the University of Manitoba. He has been in his position at CMU since June, 1999.

Wes grew up on a grain farm near Brunkild, Manitoba. He has been married to Kellie for 23 years, and they have five sons and one daughter. In his spare time, Wes enjoys cycling, board games, Minecraft, and baking his way through the cookbook "Bake With Anna Olson". Wes and his family have made Soul Sanctuary their church community for the last twelve years.
