The Behavioural Health Foundation (BHF) is a Therapeutic Community providing long-term bed-based treatment for adults and family units experiencing issues related to substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. Programming includes individual and group counselling and focuses on wholistic person centered wellness. Adult education, employment development and life skills are key components of supporting residents to move to healthier coping and life choices.
BHF is one of the few programs where adults can enter with their children or reunify with children not in their care while they are in the program. With dedicated childcare and K-6 education on site, the program offers healing opportunities for the whole family. The Indigenous Services at BHF offer Traditional Teachings and Ceremonies to residents and community members. Traditional healing in a trauma informed environment has strengthened many members' success in changing their lives. The Outreach team supports members working to maintain healthy choices as they transition back into their communities.

JOB SUMMARY
The Program Support Worker will work with treatment staff providing essential overnight support and supervision to clients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment during non-daytime hours.
QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12 High School or equivalent is required and life or work experience in dealing with women with addiction and co-occurring mental health issues.
- Good written and oral communication skills needed.
- Knowledge and understanding of Indigenous history, culture, practices, customs, and beliefs.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and exercise mature judgment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be self-motivated and well organized.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide supervision and support to clients overnight, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist with monitoring the facility and performing regular checks.
- Respond to emergencies or incidents according to established protocols.
- Document observations, incidents, and interactions accurately and promptly.
- Support clients with evening or morning routines as needed.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector check and child abuse registry check (no older than three months)
- A valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle and a satisfactory drivers abstract.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Mental Health First Aid Certificate is considered an asset.
- Valid First Aid / CPR Certification an asset
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and be reliable.

JOB VISION: The Pastor of Ministry Development is responsible to invest his gifts in helping the believers at College Heights Baptist Church to "thrill the heart of God by making followers of Jesus who are able to help others follow Him."
KEY AREAS OF LEADERSHIP: The Pastor of Ministry Development leads very broadly across the life of the church. The areas of leadership below may be accomplished directly, by delegation to others, or in collaboration with and development of teams of volunteers.
- Church Board and Committees -- The Pastor of Ministry Development will be actively involved on the Church Board, seeking to encourage and support other Board members. He will also be available to help with any matters that arise from other CHBC committees (ie - trustees, missions, nominating, IT, budget).
- Administrative Assistance -- This may involve supporting the Lead Pastor and the volunteer ministry leaders as they fulfill action items that arise from various committee meetings.
- Deacon Ministry -- This ministry assists the Council of Elders and pastoral staff with the nurturing and care of College Heights Baptist Church. As the leader of this ministry, the Pastor of Ministry Development will oversee the recruitment, encouragement, and resourcing of our Deacons.
- Care Groups -- This includes a thorough evaluation of the current ministry, setting direction for future growth, recruitment of leaders, oversight of curriculum and training, and encouraging congregational participation.
- Membership Process -- Provide opportunities for those new to CHBC to learn about the church and how they can become members. This also includes ensuring our membership list is up-to-date.
- 'In His Care' -- Ensure that all who are working with vulnerable people at CHBC receive this training.
- Recruiting and Equipping Volunteers -- Provide opportunities for people to discover their spiritual gifts and begin using them within our church family and community. This can happen through formal programs and classes or more informally through one-on-one meetings.
- Pastoral Care -- Along with our Council of Elders and other CHBC staff, ensure adequate pastoral care is available to all who need encouragement. This will include being available to those in crisis, pastoral counselling (as able), pre-marriage preparation, weddings, funerals, and visitation.
- Provide Support for the Lead Pastor -- This includes willingness to be involved in various worship service aspects.
- Representing CHBC within the community as opportunities arise.

The Opportunity:
The City of Selkirk is currently in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our team. Under the direction of the Manager of Accounting, the Accounting Clerk is responsible for performing financial, budgeting, and accounting duties to support the delivery of financial services to the City.
Job Duties:
1 - General
- Prepare and review journal entries in a timely manner to ensure the City's financials are complete and accurate.
- Create and maintain accurate reports in the City's financial software to support and align with the City's reporting requirements.
- Maintain and update the Chart of Accounts for new/inactive accounts in a timely and accurate manner to reflect the City's financial reporting structure.
- Maintain the Tangible Capital Assets listing and lead the yearly analysis and finalization to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain the Financial Reserves listing and funding for operating and capital expenditures and lead the yearly analysis and finalization to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain and update the Development Fee Calculator for Capital Levies.
- Assist in reviewing and submitting capital grant funding reports by liaising with various City departments, gathering and analyzing project financials to ensure compliance with funding requirements.
- Ensure records management of assigned financial responsibility is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Complete and file required government reports, claims, and returns, as assigned.
2 - Quarterly Financial Variance Reporting
- Lead the preparation and analysis of quarterly variance reports and present these results to the Director of Finance and Manager of Accounting.
- Monitor submissions from departments for completeness and accuracy with follow up, before including them into the corporate report.
3 - Annual Budget and Financial Plan
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of the annual budget and Financial Plan.
- Provide budget estimates for assigned accounts with supporting assumptions, information, and trends.
- Assist departments with their capital budget submissions by providing financial information upon request.
- Create accurate annual budget reports in the City's financial software to reflect corporate and departmental submissions.
4 - Consolidated Financial Statements and Audit
- Assist the Manager of Accounting with the planning and delivery of the yearly Consolidated Financial Statements and audit.
- Complete assigned year-end working papers by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Lead the yearly audit sampling response and interaction with auditors.
5 - Generate and implement continuous improvements in all areas of responsibility, such as automation of routine tasks, using software to reduce manual efforts, and business process flow improvements.
6 - Be an active team member by working collaboratively with fellow employees and management to accomplish the Financial Services department's ongoing and future operational departmental demands.
7 - Maintain confidential records. Report to Manager of Accounting on any non-compliance with the financial policy/procedures of the city when discovered.
8 - Remain current on all Resolutions, Regulations, By-Laws, Policies and Legislation that may impact this position.
9 - Provide support services within the City of Selkirk Emergency Plan in the event of an emergency as required.
10 - Provide backup, support, and training to other positions within the department as required; to provide training and assistance to other municipal staff as required.
11 - Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks as it relates to this position.
12 - Ensure job procedure manual is current for this position. Create all required procedures, as necessary. Assist with policy development, as applicable.

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Requirements shall include:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration from a recognized college/university.
- Two (2) years' accounting experience in a financial environment.
- Proficient in using Microsoft office programs specifically Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as proficient in researching information on the internet.
- Must demonstrate strong proficiency in Excel skills for data mining, analysis, and reporting.
- Must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to investigate, analyze, and propose solutions.
- Demonstrated strong organizational and time-management skills and the capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, responding with flexibility to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to details.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. This includes the ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, external contacts, and the public, in accordance with the Respectful Workplace Policy.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and student-focused Resource Teacher to support the diverse academic needs of our students. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with classroom teachers, educational assistants, and families to plan, implement, and monitor individualized programming for students requiring additional academic or behavioral support.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide targeted academic interventions for students identified with exceptional learning needs.

Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and adapt instructional strategies and materials.
