Cara is a graduate of the University of Manitoba with degrees in genetics and human physiology and has coached the Blazers women’s soccer team since 2015 before becoming Director of Athletics in 2022. Cara has always loved working with student athletes and seeing the positive ways sport can help shape their academic journey.

Cara can usually be found on a soccer field somewhere in Manitoba, or otherwise might be at home cooking, gardening, or playing the piano.
