Reynold Friesen

Director of Alumni, Church, and Donor Relations

Reynold is excited to join the CMU community in the Development Department! As an alumnus whose life is greatly influenced by CMU, Reynold hopes to assist more students in having such an impactful educational experience. He works with existing and potential scholarships and bursaries, connecting with the donors on the impact their investment in education has on the lives of students. Reynold also works to keep alumni connected to CMU and assists in planning various alumni functions.

Prior to CMU, Reynold has experience in pastoral ministry in both Ontario and Manitoba. He has worked as a camp director at Silver Lake Mennonite Camp and most recently as Agency Manager at Harvest Manitoba.

“I am excited to join the small university that thinks big! I value the depth of education and the personal connection that CMU offers its students and hope to play a role in making this available to more students. My hope is that students are inspired to become leaders of positive change in our world.”

Away from the office, Reynold enjoy spending time with his wife, two sons and dog Milo. Together we enjoy hiking, watching each other’s sporting endeavors, camping, and cycling.
